Pera wins two European funded innovation projects

Pera is participating in two of four INNO-NETS that have been set up by the European Commission to allow those companies involved in innovation to assist in setting the agenda for involvement in and access to innovation funding streams across Europe, for as many organisations as possible.

Pera to raise the growth prospects of East of England companies

Pera has won a contract to further the opportunities that exist for organisations in the East of England to identify new high-tech products and assist them to market.  Support will initially be provided to 80 companies to bring an awareness of barriers to their market potential whilst assessing their viability.  Fifteen of these companies will then be given intensive innovation assistance to exploit their market opportunities and help them develop international value chains.

Students see engineering in action

Thanks to the Manufacturing Advisory Service in the East Midlands (MAS-EM), run by Pera, students from three schools in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire spent a day finding out if they had what it takes to become an engineer.  Students from Mortimer Wilson School in Alfreton, Bennerley School in Ilkeston and Top Valley School and Engineering College in Nottingham took park in a special innovation day on 14 November as part of National Enterprise Week.
